Best dressed in 2012

It comes as no surprise that the Brits are called most fashionable in the world. It is really extremely difficult to find so stylish yet not over-dressed men anywhere else in the world. The trends of the season come from the Isles, and this is just a statement of facts. The 50 best dressed males are the essence of fashion, style and well-being. Best dressed, but also best groomed, and effortlessly. Below my favourite looks from Britain, there are some from the rest of the world, but admit it - they're anyway rather average. The list was prepared by GQ British Edition, one of the busiest magazine editions ever. Anywhere they turn, a new style is born.
The Top50 can be found here, but I've only chosen a few looks that I find particularly interesting. Not to mention the presenters.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson
A part of the year was his, due to his interpretation of Wronsky in "Anna Karenina." There, sporting a uniform, here, a smart suit. Both versions worth a nod.
David Beckham
Always there, always present. Umberto Eco in his anthology about beauty and the typical fashion icons of all times, picked him as the most influential trend-setter of our times. He could not be omitted here. Anyone remembers he is a professional footballers? (But brown shoes to a black suit? He must know something I don't).
Jude Law
A vest worth millions. Lovely patterns and choice of fabrics. It looks comfy yet very classy. And Jude knows his score. Always there, always in fashion.
Bradley Wiggins
British professional road and track racing cyclist is delightfully out-of-date. He looks like taken straight from the 1970s, but looks great! Not sure, if it's a one-time gig, or he just feels it, but I kind of really like the set!
Gary Oldman
His roles and charisma might have been decisive in putting Oldman in the list, but he actually really has great advisors. The colors and patterns, along with stylish specs, it all counts and looks good.
Daniel Craig
He could wear anything and stay stylish. That wasn't always so, but since this one became Bond, there is someone really smart that keeps his clothes in order. And not make even one single mistake.
Benedict Cumberbatch
One thing is acting. His roles make him one of the best British actors there are, and he has one of the most devoted legions of fans ever. But this can't be taken from him - he simply knows HOW to wear things, and that is equally important as WHAT to wear.
Tom Hardy
This Burberry trench coat would surely suffice to be called one of the best dressed men last year. But the rest fills the insides of the coat equally well. Besides, this was his year film-wise, how could anyone deny him a place in the Top 50...
Damian Lewis
He knows what colors he should and shouldn't wear. The same with the cutting and style of the suit. And that is never easy.
Gary Barlow
Another Gary on the list. This time, a singer/songwriter/producer. As a singer of a pop band he doesn't really make your heart pump blood faster. But with this eternal stylish look, always.
Eddie Redmayne
Ah, Eddie. A very talented actor with a very characteristic face and voice. Had some magnificent performances already behind him in 2011 and 2012, but a bright future still awaits. Especially with such great choices.
Meanwhile somewhere else...

Jon Hamm

Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Gosling

Johnny Depp
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Jack White
